With a playoff win on the line, Davis rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Copper Hills Grizzlies. The win was familiar territory for the Darts, who have now won 18 matches in a row.

The team relied heavily on Riley Jaques, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Norah Sunderland was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Davis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March.

Davis' victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-6. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.7 runs. As for Copper Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.

Looking ahead, Davis will square off against Lehi at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Darts 3.6, the Pioneers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Copper Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
