Basketball Recap: Lancaster Catholic Takes a Loss

Lancaster Catholic made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Manheim Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Crusaders fell just short of the Barons by a score of 50-48 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Barons: they've now lost three in a row.

Lancaster Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Manheim Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster Catholic will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against Trinity at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Manheim Central, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Elizabethtown at 2:30 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
