Basketball Recap: Curlew Cougars vs. Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wildcats
Curlew and Wilbur-Creston-Keller squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Curlew had to settle for second. They were dealt an 87-40 defeat at the hands of the Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wildcats. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-21.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathan Boyce, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Boyce a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Luke Doyen, who posted ten points.
Even though they lost, Curlew smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive games.
