            Volleyball Recap: Vanden Vikings vs. Pioneer Patriots        
        
		
        
        
            The Vanden Vikings made easy work of the Pioneer Patriots  on Monday and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 Vanden not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pioneer between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15,  25-16.
Leading Vanden to victory were  Tavas Spencer and  Derek Bolivar.  Spencer  had 13  aces and three  digs, while  Bolivar  had five  digs and one assist. Spencer is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as he's  now  served four or more in each of the last four games he's  played.
 They weren't the only good server: Vanden  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 19  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 16  aces in three consecutive  games.
