Recap: Vacaville Bulldogs vs. Elk Grove Thundering Herd
Even though The Vacaville Bulldogs have not done well against the Elk Grove Thundering Herd recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Vacaville walked away with a 31-19 victory over Elk Grove. Winning may never get old, but Vacaville sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Morgan De lago, who rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Vacaville's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.2 points per game. As for Elk Grove, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.
Vacaville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. St. Mary's has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 303 points over their last six matchups. Elk Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
