There's no place like home for Timothy Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the St. Edward Green Wave 11-5 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Maci Woerner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Sophia Mook was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Chloe Wetterquist was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Timothy Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Edward only posted a batting average of .258.

Timothy Christian's record is now 9-3. As for St. Edward, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Timothy Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Fenton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Edward, they will welcome Chicago Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Green Wave are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
