Basketball Recap: Cottage Grove Takes a Loss

Cottage Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 59-36 to the North Bend Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-41 back in January.

Cottage Grove's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for North Bend, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Marist the next time they take the court. North Bend will host Marist at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cottage Grove will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
