Basketball Recap: Wolfe County Takes a Loss

Wolfe County lost to Knott County Central back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wolves received a blow as they fell 57-40 to the Patriots. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wolfe County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Knott County Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wolfe County will venture away from home to challenge Pike County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Knott County Central, they will head out to square off against Letcher County Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
