Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Howard walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Arundel Wildcats on Tuesday. The win was just business as usual for the Lions, who after 24 matches remain undefeated this season.

The victory didn't come easy: Arundel scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-22.

Mckenna Brown paced Howard's offense, picking up 17 kills. Brown got some help from Imagine Peltier and her 29 assists. Finally, Brown was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Howard's win bumped their record up to 24-0. As for Arundel, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.

Coming up, Howard will challenge North Hagerstown at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arundel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
