Soccer Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood lost against Murray back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gators fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. Greenwood have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Murray, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0-1.

Greenwood wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Calloway County on the 20th. As for Murray, they will head out to square off against Graves County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
