Softball Recap: Addison Knights vs. Alfred-Almond Eagles        
        
		
            
 Addison stacked  an  eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Alfred-Almond Eagles as the Addison Knights made off with  an  11-2 victory. The  win was nothing new for Addison as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Bregan Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on three hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate,  Lillian Atwood was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-5. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ava Knowles, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Addison's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Alfred-Almond, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record  this season.
 Addison will be playing at home against Wellsville at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Wellsville will roll in looking for their  12th straight  win, something Addison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alfred-Almond, they will head out on the road to  take on  Campbell-Savona at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
