Baseball Recap: Swansboro Takes a Loss

Swansboro started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against West Bladen. They fell just short of the West Bladen Knights by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Swansboro saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Scott, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Braden Tirado also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Swansboro now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Bladen, their record is now 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swansboro will face off against Hoggard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Bladen, they will welcome South Columbus at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
