His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards. Carl Albert also got a significant boost from Tylir Simmons, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.

Meanwhile, Lawton came up short against El Reno on Thursday and fell 30-22.

Carl Albert's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Lawton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Carl Albert against Lawton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 62-12 victory. In that contest, the Titans amassed a halftime lead of 28-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
