Volleyball Recap: Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Davidson Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: South Davidson scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-21.

Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for South Davidson, their victory ended a 15-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy will square off against rival College Prep & Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Davidson is set to take on their familiar foe South Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
