Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison and Tri-Valley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Madison had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tri-Valley Mustangs, falling 49-29. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 14 in a row.

Despite the loss, Madison still got an impressive performance from Taneaja John, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave John a new career-high.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Tri-Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri-Valley, they will be playing at home against West Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Central will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Tri-Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
