Volleyball Game Preview: Covina Colts vs. Charter Oak Chargers + How To Watch

The Covina Colts will head out on the road to face off against the Charter Oak Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Wednesday, Covina didn't have quite enough to beat Northview and fell 3-2. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Charter Oak waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Raiders.

Charter Oak had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-18, 25-21, 25-16.

Charter Oak's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Covina, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-4.

Everything went Covina's way against Charter Oak in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Covina made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
