By Jason Hickman
Apr 4, 2012, 9:25pm

Anderson sizes up Michael Kidd-Gilchrist during St. Anthony's showdown with St. Patrick in March of 2011. The matchup featured MaxPreps.com's No. 1- (St. Patrick) and No. 2-ranked (St. Anthony) teams nationally and was one of the most highly-anticipated games in New Jersey high school basketball history.

Anderson outshined Kidd-Gilchrist to lead St. Anthony to a 62-45 win over St. Patrick in the 2011 postseason. It was a crushing defeat for St. Patrick, which entered the game unbeaten and was eyeing a national title.

Anderson has been a winner with every team he's played for. The future UCLA Bruin starred on the summer circuit for the New Jersey-based Playaz Basketball Club.

At 6-foot-7, Anderson has played virtually every position on the floor during his high school career but is viewed as an intriguing, oversized point guard prospect.
