Baseball Recap: Pompano Beach Takes a Loss

Pompano Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Coral Springs Colts. If the Golden Tornadoes were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Colts when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pompano Beach saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Chodnoff, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Pompano Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Coral Springs, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

Looking ahead, Pompano Beach will welcome Taravella at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coral Springs, they are taking a road trip to take on American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
