Cosby won against Powhatan last Tuesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Cosby put the hurt on the Monacan Chiefs with a sharp 9-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won five in a row.

Kam Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, Aislin Bossler was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Lily Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Cosby's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Monacan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
