If Hondo was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Somerset last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hondo Owls lost 5-0 to the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars on Friday. The Owls' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hondo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Floresville, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Hondo will host Uvalde at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Uvalde will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Hondo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Floresville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Poteet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Floresville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
