Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Lions vs. Ogden International

The Lincoln Park Lions will head out on the road to square off against Ogden International at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln Park has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lincoln Park came up short against Whitney Young on Tuesday, falling 15-7.

Meanwhile, Ogden International entered their game against Von Steuben on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Ogden International took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Von Steuben. Ogden International has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Julio Pagan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Lincoln Park has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Ogden International, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-4.

Lincoln Park couldn't quite finish off Ogden International in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
