Cony is 7-1 against Gardiner since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Cony's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Cony against Lawrence as the squad secured a 46-14 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 32 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Gardiner faced Foxcroft Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Tigers made off with a 14-13 win over the Ponies.

Cony's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Gardiner, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Cony strolled past Gardiner when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-6. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
