Recap: Elm Creek Buffaloes vs. Ansley/Litchfield Spartans
The Elm Creek Buffaloes lost against the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Elm Creek fell just short of Ansley/Litchfield by a score of 51-48.
Despite the loss, Elm Creek saw an underclassman step up: Quin Oberg scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The game was Oberg's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Sindt, who scored 11 points.
Elm Creek now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Ansley/Litchfield, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Elm Creek will head out on the road to face off against Bertrand at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ansley/Litchfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Axtell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
