After a string of four wins, Superior's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fort Thomas Apaches, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apaches this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Fort Thomas, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Superior didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Valley Lutheran on the 9th. As for Fort Thomas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against San Manuel on the 14th.
