Softball Recap: Scott County Central Braves vs. Scott City Rams

Monday just wasn't the day for Scott County Central's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 23-0 walloping at the hands of the Scott City Rams on Monday. The match marked that first time this season in which Scott County Central was not able to get on the board.

For Scott City's part, Alyssa Dirden made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Dirden was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple.
