Volleyball Recap: White Pigeon Takes a Loss

White Pigeon suffered their biggest loss since October 7, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the Three Rivers Wildcats, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Chiefs in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Three Rivers was led to victory by Peyton Roberts and Leah Kane. Roberts had nine digs and three assists, while Kane had eight digs and two assists. Those three assists gave Roberts a new career-high.

White Pigeon's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Three Rivers, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

White Pigeon will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bloomingdale at 7:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Three Rivers, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Constantine on the 25th.
