Volleyball Recap: Monett's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Monett hadn't done well against Diamond recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cubs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 3-2. This was payback for the Cubs, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Peyton Brandt paced Monett's offense, picking up 15 kills. Brandt got some help from Morgan Wright and her 33 assists. Brycelynn Courtois controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory (which was Monett's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Monett will welcome Neosho at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Diamond, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against McDonald County on the 4th.
