Southwest Suburban - Red's top pitcher this week was
Steve Kubiak. He won one game and struck out 12 batters.
Mike Farnan was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .350 average with four RBIs. His
Stagg team went 3-2.
Thornton's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 16 hits and seven walks, both of which led the league. The Wildcats' pitchers have been charged with only 187 hits and have struck out 172 batters.
Antaun Mcherron is tops on the staff with 45 Ks.
Brandon Campbell led the league with seven hits this week for the Chargers. His 19 hits for the year are elefirst in the league, and he boasts a .306 batting average.
