Monrovia extended the longest winning streak in Rio Hondo this week by beating Temple City, 35-14. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.

San Marino moved up to 310 from 345 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Titans climbed the ranks as a result of defeating South Pasadena 43-8.

Andy Paynter was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 228 yards on 29 carries as La Canada bested Blair. Teammate Matt Jones added to the ground attack by rushing for 43 yards.

Del Cueto was the best wideout in Rio Hondo this week as the Spartans bested the Vikings. Del Cueto racked up two receptions for 82 yards.

Blake Heyworth put up the best numbers through the air as Monrovia defeated the Rams. He finished with nine completions for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Heyworth's favorite target this week was Mason Bryant, who caught four passes for 65 yards.

Ryan Maddox's team's Heyworth and Bryant have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Heyworth has thrown for 1618 yards this season, while Bryant has 38 catches for 639 yards. Paynter from La Canada leads the league in rushing with 1012 yards.

James Sims' team took down Blair 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Paynter in the win.
