Recap: Grace Christian Wildcats vs. Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders
This season hasn't been kind to the Grace Christian Wildcats, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were the victim of a rough 66-40 loss at the hands of Christ the Cornerstone Academy on Friday. Grace Christian has not had much luck with Christ the Cornerstone Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy can attribute much of their success to DOMINIC GAGNON, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was WILL JACKSON, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Grace Christian bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will take on Liberty Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Christ the Cornerstone Academy and Varsity Opponent will face off on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
