Basketball Recap: Norborne Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Norborne won the last time they faced Bevier and things went their way on Friday too. The Norborne Pirates walked away with a 43-31 victory over the Bevier Wildcats.

Norborne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avi Leabo led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Leabo has scored at least a third of Norborne's points. Another player making a difference was Sarah Mansur, who posted six points and nine rebounds.
