Volleyball Recap: Parkway West Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Jackson

Parkway West faced Jackson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Longhorns fell 2-0 to the Fighting Indians. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12.

Katie Byergo paced Parkway West's offense, picking up five kills. Byergo got some help from Elle Lanfersieck and her 11 assists.

Parkway West's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-1. As for Jackson, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Parkway West has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Kirkwood on the 25th. As for Jackson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Webster Groves on the 25th.
