Softball Recap: Ontario Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Ontario Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hillcrest Trojans, falling 9-1. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ontario Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karli Cook, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Ontario Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Hillcrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Ontario Christian will head out on the road to square off against El Monte at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Ontario Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Hillcrest, they will be taking part in a tournament against Edison at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
