For the second straight game, St. Andrew's Episcopal will face off against Loyd Star. The Saints will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, John William Walker made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cash Myrick, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Loyd Star has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they dropped their record down to 20-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
