Football Recap: Ridgeway Takes a Loss

Ridgeway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Southwind Jaguars 47-0. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Jaguars are ranked 41st).

Ridgeway's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southwind, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Ridgeway will face off against Hernando at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwind, they will take on Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
