Softball Recap: Valley Gets the Win

Valley proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Johnston Dragons get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Johnston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Johnston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waukee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
