Soccer Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

Alhambra's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Fairfax Stampede by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Alhambra can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Fairfax are ranked 32nd).

The defeat snapped Alhambra's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-3 record. As for Fairfax, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
