Basketball Recap: Juniata Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against CHASE

Juniata Christian kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against CHASE, falling 42-19. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Juniata Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alayna Coulter, who posted four points along with nine rebounds and six steals, and Alyvia Banks, who put up eight points.

The win got CHASE back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Juniata Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Community Baptist Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. CHASE also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against More Academy at 5:15 p.m. on January 23, 2025.
