Union Colony Prep took a serious blow against Loveland Classical on Tuesday, falling 92-32. Union Colony Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 65-22.
Caedon Meyer was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds for Loveland Classical. The matchup was Meyer's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Sainz, who scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals.
Union Colony Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Loveland Classical, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Colony Prep will take on Lone Star at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loveland Classical, they will head out on the road to face off against Estes Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Estes Park will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Loveland Classical is ranked first).
