Soccer Recap: Alief Elsik Takes a Loss

Alief Elsik was the 2-1 winner over Fulshear when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Alief Elsik Rams fell 2-0 to the Fulshear Chargers on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rams came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Chargers are ranked 89th).

Alief Elsik's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Fulshear, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Alief Elsik will square off against Alief Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fulshear does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
