Softball Recap: Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers vs. ITW David Speer Academy Pride

Noble Street College Prep lost against ITW David Speer Academy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the ITW David Speer Academy Pride. Noble Street College Prep has not had much luck with ITW David Speer Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Amia Aguilar was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and ten unearned) runs off four hits. Aguilar has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Aguilar was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
