Basketball Recap: HEA Firebirds Homeschool's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They strolled past Tulsa CHEF with points to spare, taking the game 38-24. That's two games straight that HEA Firebirds HomeSchool has won by exactly 14 points.

Several Tulsa CHEF players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justyce Walters, who posted two points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Walters a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Maegan Kennedy, who earned four points.

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Tulsa CHEF, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-14 record this season.

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tulsa CHEF, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 54-47 loss against Dallas Thunder on the 10th.
