Baseball Game Preview: Perkins-Tryon Demons vs. Seminole Chieftains

For the second straight game, Perkins-Tryon will face off against Seminole. The Demons will face off against the Chieftains at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Perkins-Tryon took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over Seminole. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Demons considering their one-run performance the game before.

For Seminole's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Childs, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Seminole has also been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Perkins-Tryon, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10.
