Basketball Recap: Becker Comes Up Short

Becker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 73-42 loss at the hands of the Monticello Magic. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Magic are ranked tenth).

Becker's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Monticello, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Becker has already played their next contest, a 63-15 victory against Chisago Lakes Area on the 23rd. As for Monticello, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 80-27 win against Zimmerman on the 23rd.
