Eagle Ridge Academy dropped down to 12-7 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt an 80-44 defeat at the hands of the Regis Groff Fusion. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-22.

As for Regis Groff, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-0. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Regis Groff got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Javelle Taylor out in front who went 5-for-10 to rack up 10 points along with eight steals and five assists. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 17 games he's played dating back to last season. Javaree Paris was another key player, shooting 88% from the field en route to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eagle Ridge Academy will face off against Peak to Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Regis Groff, they will take on Montbello at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
