Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

Montgomery Central lost against Richmond Senior back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Timberwolves lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Montgomery Central was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Richmond Senior's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-17.

Montgomery Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Richmond Senior, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Montgomery Central will head out to face off against High Point Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richmond Senior, they will take on Purnell Swett at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
