Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Heritage Christian extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Abby Leveillee. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Highland Huskies on Tuesday thanks in part to Leveillee, who had 25 digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Heritage Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.

Heritage Christian's record now sits at 12-4. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Heritage Christian will square off against rival SkyView Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Highland is set to take on their familiar foe Belleview Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
