Sulphur came tearing into Tuesday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 72-47 margin over the Southside Sharks. The Golden Tors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Sulphur pushed their record up to 28-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Southside, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sulphur will challenge Carencro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southside, they will face off against Acadiana at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
