Baseball Recap: Stamford Black Knights vs. Norwalk Bears
Stamford and Norwalk squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Stamford had to settle for second. They lost 12-0 to the Bears. The shutout was out of character for the Black Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.
Stamford got a good showing from Owen Priscott, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero earned runs gave Priscott a new career-low.
Stamford's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Norwalk, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-4.
While Stamford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
