Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton fell victim to Oak Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders. The Big Blue's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Hamilton got a good showing from Jacob Eads, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Eads has allowed since back in May of 2025.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Oak Hills, their record now sits at 8-3.

Looking ahead, Oak Hills will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Talawanda at 5:00 p.m. Hamilton will be paying especially close attention to the Highlanders' matchup: after the Highlanders face off against the Brave, they'll take on Hamilton again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
